Welcome to the Technical Education and Industry Training program history website. Please use the table of contents link below to access the movie clips. We hope you enjoy this production. Of particular interest are the philosophies. Over thirty years ago importance was placed on learner centered, performance based, and learner access. These philosophies continue today.

Further, as described in the mission statement the program maintains emphasis on the intellectual growth of each student using research based effective teaching techniques, scholarly learning, laboratory-field experience, and leadership development. It requires continuous reflective practices that mirror continuous professional improvements as a lifelong learner moving in the direction toward Professional Educator.

As the program continues into the future, content is updated and integrated with present day technologies. These ongoing improvements are made, reflective of today’s changing world, without losing the important deep rooted philosophies.

It was our privilege to work on the review and compilation of the videos since we were and continue to be part of this program. We dedicate this site to Larry R. Hudson, Ph.D., professor, mentor and friend to all of his students – Why? – Because he cared.
