Organizational Pattern

Students are split into small groups as they rotate between stations.

Description of the Activity / Task:

Skill task #1 -

Students are split up into a small groups of around 6 people. Students are set up around 10-15 feet from a wall facing the wall. The students are spaced out evenly around four feet apart from one another. The students are trying to kick the ball on to the wall in the air, without letting the ball hit the ground. The students try to attempt this five times consecutively with each foot. They then move on to the next skill.

Skill task #2 -

Students are split up into small groups of around 6 people. Students are spread out in a straight line around 4-5 feet apart from one another. Students try to knee the ball up in the air 5 times consecutively with each leg. If students are skilled enough they may try to kick it up with their foot.

Game #1 -

Students are paired into two's. The students are spread out around six feet apart and are facing each other. The two students are trying to kick the ball back and forth consecutively without letting the ball touch the ground. The students keep count to see how many kicks that they can keep the ball in the air without letting it touch the ground. The pair with the most consecutive kicks win's the game.

Modifications

Students are spread out further apart due to their particular skill level.
