Pass That Ball!

Objective:

Students will demonstrate passing a ball to a partner or wall (bounce pass, chest pass, overhead pass, baseball pass).

Sasparilla,
Soda water,
Ginger ale,
Pop,
Lemonade,
Root beer,
Hop, hop, hop.
(Schwartz, 1992)

Progression:

  1. On each verse, have students pass the ball back and forth.  On the last line, both students will hop on one foot three
    times and then pause before beginning again.
  2. As students become more skilled, have them increase the speed of the activity.
