Course Information

IDL6543 is an award-winning, non-credit course for faculty sponsored by the Center for Distributed Learning (CDL) and (CDWS. IDL6543 models how to teach online using a combination of seminars, labs, consultations, and Web-based instruction. IDL6543 is an M or mixed-mode course. It includes both required classroom attendance and online instruction. The time commitment for this course is not inconsequential, in that it requires a minimum of 80 clock hours. The purpose of this faculty development course is to help you succeed as you develop and deliver your fully online (W) course or mixed-mode (M) course.

Please note: CDWS’s Instructional Technology Group (ITG) provides faculty with comprehensive training using Webcourses@UCF. By contrast, IDL6543 addresses broader technology skills, pedagogy, and logistics involved in successfully teaching online at UCF.
