idl6543 - Interactive Distributed Learning for Technology-Mediated Course Delivery
CDWS

Welcome to IDL6543, an award-winning, non-credit course for faculty sponsored by the Center for Distributed Learning and CDWS that models how to teach online using a combination of seminars, labs, consultations, and Web-based instruction. The time commitment for this course is not inconsequential, in that it will require a minimum of 80 clock hours. The purpose of this faculty development course is to help you succeed as you develop and deliver your online ("W") or mixed-mode ("M") courses.

Please Note: Webcourses@UCF Training is the venue for comprehensive training using the Webcourses@UCF program . By contrast, IDL6543 addresses broader technology skills, pedagogy, and logistics involved in teaching online at UCF.

If your need is to offer an existing "W" or "M" course developed by someone else at UCF, please visit the Web site for ADL5000. To receive training in using Webcourses@UCF, please visit Webcourses@UCF Training. To request a Webcourses@UCF course section, please visit Essentials.

If you would like to participate in IDL6543 in an upcoming semester, please talk with your department chair and your dean's office. If you have questions about the process, you may contact the Center for Distributed Learning by e-mail (distrib@mail.ucf.edu)or 407-823-4910.
