We are very saddened by his passing and appreciate the work he did in the development of CPAW and the wonderful projects he was involved with in International Education.

The IMAGE Office of the College of Education at UCF was saddened to learn of the death of Dr.Larry Hudson on Tuesday, September 6, 2005. Larry served as a facultymember in the College of Education for twenty-three years. He was a leader in online learning and was well known for his work in vocational/technical education.

A memorial service in celebration of Larry's life was held on Friday,
September 9, 2005, at 2:00 p.m. In the UCF Teaching Academy, Room 117.

Emeritus CPAW President, Dr Larry Hudson, teacher, writer and friend, will
be sadly missed by all those who had the honour of knowing him. His
passion for teaching and his duty to students is well reflected in his
writings and by his practice. As a visionary, he saw the many advantages
of the effective use of state-of-the art technology in teaching and
learning. During his time as CPAW President he supported numerous projects
which exemplified this. While his passing from this life is tragic, he will
be well remembered always, by so many in the CPAW global family. On behalf
of CPAW, I extend condolences to his wife, Maxine and son Ben and other
family members. The memories of the many ways he touched others will
always live on.
