WRITERS IN THE GLOBAL CLASSROOM

Themes:
Living on the Edge (Risk-taking behaviour)
A Different Drum  (Individuality)
Who Pulls the Strings? (Power and Manipulation)

The project has two aims :
a) To provide an opportunity for students to share their writing with fellow students and professional writers throughout the world.

b)  For students to have the opportunity to question writers about their work and craft.

Please email us NO LATER THAN Friday 2nd March if you wish to participate in this year’s event, providing the following information:
 

 
a) The name of the teacher who will be co-ordinating the event at your

b) The name of your school: ...........................

c) The email address of your school: ..................

d) The name/s of your local author who will be visiting your
school:...........................................

e)  The possible date AND time when your local author will be visiting:
............................................
(If you do not have this information now you may email it at a later
time.)
 

When we have these details from all participating schools we will organise a time-table to let you know when and where to contact the authors online.

“CPAW International Writers Week” will provide an excellent opportunity for your school to promote itself through inviting the media to report on your participation in this global event, especially when your local writer is visiting your school.

There is also the chance to showcase a selection of work on the CPAW website.
