Entrance requirements
Junior or senior standing as admitted student to UCF.

Required courses 18 sh
ADE 4382 Teaching adult learners 3 sh
EVT 4368 Advanced teaching techniques in vocational education 3 sh
EVT 3062 Professional role of the vocational teacher 3 sh
EVT 3367 Evaluation in vocational education 3 sh
EVT 4169 Curriculum development for industry training 3 sh
EVT 4065 Principles and practices in vocational education 3 sh

Other requirements

  • A minimum of 12 sh courses of the 18sh required must be completed at UCF within the Program of courses listed above.
  • A grade of “C” or better must be achieved in each course used for this Minor.
  • Internship, Co-op, or Independent Study credit cannot be used towards this Minor.
  • No Military credit can be used toward this Minor.
  • Completion of this Minor does not complete requirements for certification as a Vocational Education teacher nor does it constitute admission to the College of Education.
